Voice Lessons

Instruction

I teach students young, old and anywhere in between! From beginners to seasoned pros, I meet your voice where it’s at to find greater vocal freedom. No matter your singing background, I can help you become the singer you’ve always wanted to be!

My teacher style focuses on healthy, efficient voice usage to achieve the greatest level of vocal freedom and joyful performance!

Pricing

My pricing plan is month-to-month, with a month’s tuition due on the first of the month. Students may choose between the following length and quantities of lessons per month.

30 min lessons @ $50 each (reserved only for students 12 and under)

4 lessons per month @ $200

5 lessons per month @ $250

45 min lessons @ $60 each

4 lessons per month @ $240

5 lessons per month @ $300

60 min lessons @ $70 each

4 lessons per month @ $280

5 lessons per month @ $350

I encourage all students to pay via Stripe. I also accept Venmo, check, or cash. When you sign up for lessons, you are paying for a weekly time slot for that month. Cancellations and no-shows hurt my ability to schedule other students during that time slot, so I require that you reserve your time by paying monthly.

If a student neglects to pay the monthly lesson fee when it is due, then he/she may not schedule another lesson until all outstanding lessons are paid for, plus a $10 late fee.

Schedule

I am available to schedule lessons Monday – Friday. Individual schedule time will be discussed with each student.

I generally close on Federal and State holidays. I do not teach lessons on Thanksgiving and may close my studio that whole week depending on the year. I will also be closed for Christmas Break from the week before 25 December until after New Year’s Day.

Location

My home studio is located in Providence, UT on the base of Little Baldy. Some students may also choose to do lessons in my office on USU campus. This will be discussed on a case by case basis

Cancellation and Make-up Lessons

If you must miss a lesson, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. I can be contacted via phone, text or email. Failure to notify me will count as a paid lesson. Should you wake up sick on your lesson day, please notify me – that will not count as a paid lesson.

I will also abide by the same policy and notify you when I miss a lesson.

If you know at the beginning of the month that you will miss several lessons, I will be happy to pro-rate you the fee for that month. If I am not notified of planned absences, you will be responsible for the whole month. Exceptions will be worked out on a case-by-case basis.

I allow for exceptions in extreme situations such as illness or family emergencies on a case-by-case basis. In case of inclement weather, I will refund or credit you the amount of the canceled lesson or schedule an additional make-up lesson. If I must cancel a lesson, I will also refund, credit, or make up the lesson. If your normal lesson falls on a holiday or a planned studio closure, I will pro-rate your monthly fee accordingly. I will make every effort to let you know well in advance of any studio closures or lesson cancellations on our part.

Music

You are responsible for providing your own sheet music for the songs assigned in lessons. You may purchase music or find free pdf files online. You must bring your music to each lesson. I do not give out my music books or provide photocopies.
